About the team:

Our talented in-house marketing team connects our award-winning app with the world! Our team produces creative marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels to expand our reach and drive downloads and revenue for the business. You’ll be joining a creative and fun team of marketers & designers who have a passion for sharing our love for Goodnotes!

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Specialist to look after day-to-day management of all Goodnotes social media channels.

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Lead the design, creation, and curation of engaging visual and written content tailored for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive social media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting across channels.
  • Conduct audience research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform content strategy.
  • Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with influencers and creators to foster vibrant UGC-driven community engagement.
  • Drive integrated campaigns and develop content series that enhance user engagement and brand visibility.
  • Work cross-functionally with product managers, marketers, leadership, and insights teams to produce accurate and content-rich materials.
  • Use data-driven insights to report on social media metrics and optimize campaign performance.

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

  • Proven experience in social media content production and campaign management.
  • High proficiency in copywriting, with a keen eye for brand aesthetics and tone, able to balance creative and corporate messaging
  • A strong creative flair to innovate content formats and tailor approaches to relevant trends.
  • Experience producing and editing short form video content
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills skills
  • Proficient in metrics reporting and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms and best practices

Interview Process

  • An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes
  • A call with our Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager. They want to hear more about your experience, what you are looking for, and why you'd like to join GoodNotes
  • A live assessment so you can showcase your social media skills
  • Panel interview. You will get the chance to speak to 2 or 3 people you’d be working closely with. This will be a 60 minute interview focused more on your culture fit with Goodnotes. You will also be expected to prepare a short presentation on something you are passionate about.
  • An interview with our COO
