Production Manager - Pack & Module Team

Job Description:

As a Production Manager for the Pack & Module Team at Gotion, you will lead a critical segment of our battery factory's production processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of battery packs and modules, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. This role demands strong leadership, production management, and organizational skills to maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Manage and oversee the production of battery packs and modules, ensuring adherence to quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure seamless operations.

  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of equipment, materials, and personnel to meet production targets.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and inspect finished products to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards.

  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including schedules, reports, and any deviations from standard procedures.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance, to resolve technical issues and optimize production processes.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in production management, with a strong preference for experience in the assembly of battery packs and modules.

  • Have managed 2-3 Supervisors and 2-3 Engineers (production.process), with strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Commitment to quality and a track record of driving process improvements.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
