Production Control II
Summary
Production Control II is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, informing, and recording the flow of material through manufacturing departments and communicating the overall health of the program. This position coordinates with all departments to make sure a quality product is delivered on time to the customer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accuracy of the Bill of Material (BOM).
- Works with the Planning department to ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is generating the proper schedule for production control I.
- Manages overall project part shortages.
- Works with Purchasing and Manufacturing exceptions.
- Works with Engineering for drawing releases and design improvements.
- Works with the Spares Department for pricing and lead times.
- Reviews Material Review Board (MRB) and coordinates with the required departments to resolve the issue.
- Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production.
- Involved in improving lean product flow.
- Informs shipping, store, quality, and program management of project details.
- Coach and mentor the Production Control I employees.
- Other duties assigned by management.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Minimum of two years relevant experience in an aerospace production environment. Vocational and technical schooling preferred.
Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.

Working Conditions:
- Primarily office work- approximately 90%
- Manufacturing work- approximately 10%
- Protracted hours may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.
The expected WA salary range for this position is between $56,000.00 - $77,000.00 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
