As a Design Verification (DV) Manager, this leadership role manages a team, ensures technical excellence, and oversees the full-chip verification of SoC (System-on-Chip) designs. This position requires technical expertise in SoC verification, leadership skills, and managing complex projects and teams. It’s ideal for someone with a deep technical background in digital verification, especially with experience in UVM, ARM, and 5G technologies, who is excited about leading a team in a rapidly evolving startup environment.

This full-time position is located in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 10-12 DV & design engineers for technical leadership and mentoring team members for team building
• Work as the primary interface to US design/verification team members and management
• Track verification progress, and identify and close verification gaps to show progress towards tape-out
• Provide an executive summary for the verification status on each sub-system
• Full-chip functional verification of 5G Digital Radio SOC
• Develop, review and execute SOC verification plans on internal and 3^rd party IPs
• Architect verification framework for mix-signal SOC verification
• Verify full chip SoC using UVM - Directed/Constrained-Random  
• Verify internal and 3^rd party IP blocks with functional vector, VIP and UVM
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (System, Emulation, FW) for silicon tapeout and product solution development
• Explore and propose advanced verification methodologies - UVM, FPGA prototyping, emulation,

Minimum Qualifications

• Tech or B.Tech degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 15+ years of successfully executing and/or managing multiple IP, SOC Verification projects
• Have successfully led verification efforts at IP and/or SOC level for multiple
• Expertise in verification methodologies, flows, and quality assurance
• Strong experience with UVM, particularly for complex, coverage-driven, random-constraint verification
• Proficiency in using simulation tools like Xcelium and vManager
• Experience verifying third-party IP blocks using VIPs (Verification IPs) from CNDS/Synopsys
• Hands-on experience with multi-core ARM CPUs, AXI/AHB/APB bus systems, and SystemVerilog/UVM-based testbenches
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Subversion
• Familiar with boot ROM and gate-level simulations, and Matlab simulations
• Solid understanding of programming languages like C, SystemVerilog, VHDL, and scripting languages such as TCL and Python

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ARM and Wireless signal-processing design is highly
• UVM Proficiency is required
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively interact with teams, management, and external partners
