About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Operations team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain our advanced cloud platform that powers critical business applications and services. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including AWS services, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Data Lake and AI/ML integrations to deliver a reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance our expansive IAAS codebase (HCL, Python).
- Enhance and troubleshoot CI/CD workflows (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus).
- Administer and scale Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
- Implement and support systems built on AWS Bedrock with RAG.
- Engineer Network, Security, IAM, integrations with cloud resources.
- Engineer Platform Reliability (Observability, Scaling, Capacity).
- Collaborate with Development, Security, and Operations teams to solve complex challenges.
- Document platform capabilities and create self-service resources for internal users.
Requirements
- Terraform Certified (Authoring and Operations).
- AWS Certifications for (Cloud Engineer/Devops Data Engineer/Solution Architect).
- Kubernetes Certification (CKA).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with significant AWS focus.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform/HCL.
- Advanced Python programming skills for automation and tooling.
- Expertise in engineering Docker containers.
- Kubernetes administration and deployment expertise.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, EMR, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Data Lake in AWS.
- Experience implementing AI/ML platforms, particularly with AWS Bedrock
- Background in enterprise-scale cloud migrations or implementations
- Security engineering experience in cloud environments
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities
