Insurance Coverage Associate

Ice Miller seeks an associate to join our litigation practice group in Indianapolis. Candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation.   

About the Role: The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience analyzing insurance policies and providing advice on complex claims. They will be able to draft coverage opinions, assist with claim resolutions, and support litigation or dispute resolution processes as needed. Applicants should possess the skills to excel in a collaborative environment, the flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• At least 3 years of experience practicing law in a law firm and in-house environment
• Active law license in Indiana
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and business judgement
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States
