Role Overview
We are looking for a Fraud Operations Analyst to join the ID.me Fraud Team. In this role, you will work daily with multiple Member Support teams to coordinate the fraud operations of the company. Additionally, you will work with the Product and Engineering teams, as needed. This role requires a holistic understanding of both internal operations and the external fraud landscape, empowering you to safeguard ID.me from threat actors. You must also be familiar with fraud analysis and investigative techniques, and have a keen eye for detail to be able to spot inefficiencies before they become issues and implement the appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage department projects and processes to achieve organizational goals.
- Track fraud project timelines and drive fraud projects to completion.
- Enable the fraud department to act and report on incoming requests and manage feedback.
- Summarize and communicate fraud activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with Member Services to create and document proper procedures, provide training, gain alignment, track implementation and adherence
- Be the fraud subject matter expert for multiple cross-functional teams, including Member Support, responding to escalations and managing procedure feedback.
- Be able to identify and provide recommendations on product and process improvements to prevent fraudulent activities.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Member Support to influence and deliver fraud product features.
- Maintain all fraud-related Confluence pages across the enterprise to ensure all fraud processes are aligned and routinely updated to reflect the most up to date information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience in a fraud operations role
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- At least three (3) years experience with illicit fraud techniques, tactics, procedures, and investigations
- At least three (3) years of experience in project management, program management or operations roles
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to create and improve operational processes through cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management, prioritization of tasks, and ability to meet deadlines with little supervision
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA is preferred
- Knowledge of SQL is preferred
