About the Role: 

As our new TechOps Project Coordinator, you’ll be a key member of our TechOps team - playing a vital role in the execution of technical deliverables for new Industrious locations in North America. You will ensure the seamless setup of IT, networking, and Conference Room AV systems for new coworking spaces, as well as upgrading existing tech infrastructure and network migrations at existing locations.

Alongside the head of TechOps Program Management, you will be a pivotal player in the execution of TechOps projects across North America and have the opportunity to work closely with multiple key stakeholders in our business. 

This position requires a blend of project management acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, and basic technical knowledge. You’ll help ensure that projects meet quality standards and stay within deadlines and budgets.

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must live within an easy commuting distance of either Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, or Austin.

This role will also have the opportunity to support the launch of new locations across the US, and candidates must be comfortable with occasional domestic travel (no more than once per quarter). 

What You'll Do & How You'll Contribute (Key Responsibilities)

In this role, you'll be a vital part of our team, helping us create seamless experiences for our members and streamline our operations. Here's how you'll contribute:

Driving Network & Project Success:

  • Lead network transitions to new service providers across North American locations.
  • Assist TechOps in meeting all non-negotiable items during location launches.
  • Help plan and execute project tasks and milestones, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Coordinate directly with multiple vendors: printing, low voltage, A/V, and network.

Championing Clear Communication:

  • Attend launch calls with cross-functional teammates, updating on TechOps deliverables.
  • Serve as the main contact for project queries.
  • Convey project updates, risks, and achievements to stakeholders; manage the launch dashboard.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations, aligning them with project goals.
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional partners on ad hoc tasks and questions related to project deliverables.

Nurturing Vendor Relationships:

  • Facilitate communication between the company and vendors/suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess needs and requirements.
  • Review contracts and agreements with vendors/suppliers before liaising with internal stakeholders/management.


What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)

We're looking for someone excited to dive in and make a real impact, here are the skills and experiences that will help you shine:

Project & Technical Foundations:

  • 1+ years of experience juggling multiple priorities: emails, phone calls, direct messages, and various to-dos across multiple projects in a given day
  • 1+ years of experience supporting entry-level technical issues with A/V, printing, and network hardware and software systems. Basic familiarity with these systems and eagerness to learn new tech are super important.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. If you're comfortable with Airtable or Monday.com, that's even better!

Exceptional Communication:

  • Clear, empathetic communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into layman's terms.
  • Excellent note-taking and documentation skills so that all parties in a project have critical information
  • Ability to identify and bridge communication gaps amongst partners in a project or task
  • Ability to document standard operating procedures and identify bottlenecks and process improvements in a project

A Passion for Service:

  • 1+ years of prior direct customer, client, guest, or member-facing experience.
  • 1+ years of professional experience troubleshooting technical or project issues with a collaborative, 'white-glove' approach

Software Proficiency:

  • 3+ years of experience using MacOS and Google Drive with a high level of comfort.

Compensation 

The annual base compensation range for this role is between $65,000 - $70,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications. You will also be eligible for an annual 10% bonus and participation in our long-term incentive program.

Base and bonus are just two components of Industrious’ total compensation package for this role.
