About the Role
We are looking for experienced Mechanical Concrete Foremen to lead operations on large-scale infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for skilled professionals with a proven track record in overseeing earthmoving operations, site development, and managing heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily earthwork operations and manage the equipment fleet
  • Interpret site plans, grades, and elevations
  • Maximize crew productivity and equipment efficiency
  • Collaborate with surveyors on grade checks and layout
  • Monitor cut/fill operations and material quantities
  • Ensure proper soil compaction and material placement
  • Maintain daily production and quantity tracking reports
  • Lead safety meetings and uphold a safe work environment
  • Coordinate with other trades and utilities on-site
  • Manage erosion control and ensure environmental compliance

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in earthwork and concrete operations
  • Extensive experience with various heavy equipment
  • Knowledge of soil conditions and compaction requirements
  • Proficient in reading site plans and calculating material quantities
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's license
  • Equipment operation experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Comfortable navigating equipment and uneven terrain
  • Capable of standing, walking, and climbing as necessary
