Our team has an exciting opportunity as a Concrete Finisher.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete restoration repairs for on grade flatwork as well as restoration repairs to hand patch structural concrete columns, beams, joist, soffit, walls, and curbs.
  • Strike off with experience straight edge techniques, float and finish concrete.
  • Finish surfaces of poured concrete slabs using hand tools or power trowel machines.
  • Set and place forms to proper elevations for floors or site work.
  • Cut joints/grooves in concrete with hand tools, as well as layout by setting string lines.

 Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or Equivalent plus a minimum of three years previous experience as a cement finisher
  • Ability to travel a 3-4 hour radius outside of home location
  • Join or already be a part of affiliated union
  • Experience in construction or contracting industry with a good work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good attitude.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; trainable.
  • Strong attention to detail; take pride in work.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
