Keeley Construction is looking to hire an Interior Designer to join our Building Group in St. Louis, MO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the development of conceptual interior design from programming to construction documentation, including furniture selection and specification.
  • Create drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials using SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Powerpoint, and other design and presentation software.
  • Participate in design reviews and presentations, and coordinate meetings.
  • Collaborate with consultants, vendors, contractors, and other team members as required.
  • Ensure that design work meets project goals, timelines, and technical standards.
  • Hold literacy with building codes and ADA guidelines.
  • Perform redlines and revisions under supervision.
  • Contribute to design innovation and sustainability strategies when applicable.
  • Assist with construction administration activities such as submittal reviews and RFI responses.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a design firm is preferred.
  • Must have an appreciation for design-build process, embracing the understanding of construction and maintenance practicalities as a necessary complement to interior design.
  • Knowledge of commercial interior design process and materials, as well as the codes and standards influencing it.
  • Should be a self-starter, able to take direction and run with it.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong graphic and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • NCIDQ certification (or on path to) is preferred.
