Keeley Construction is looking for an Assistant Project Accountant to join our Accounting Group in St. Louis, MO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for responding to all vendor and subcontractor payment inquiries.  
  • Responsible for Lien Waiver compliance on all operations jobs for the company.   
  • Assisting Project Accountants with owner billing documentation preparation. 
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of payments. 
  • Generating reports to analyze vendor payment trends and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements. 
  • Reviewing vendor contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with payment terms and conditions. 
  • Collaborating with purchasing and procurement teams to resolve pricing or quantity discrepancies on vendor invoices. 
  • Processing job setup & owner invoice imports from external systems into ERP. 
  • Responsible for maintaining all owner invoicing sites with monthly billings. 

 Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required. 
  • Minimum of one year of experience holding similar primary responsibilities or construction experience preferred. 
  • CMIC, AIA Pay Application, and Lien Waiver experience preferred.  
  • Full-cycle AP experience preferred. 
  • Ability to learn construction accounting systems/software.
