Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assigning and monitoring credit ratings on various debt instruments issued by funds, closed-end funds, and other fund vehicles
  • Assist with credit research on a variety of funds, closed-end funds, and other investment vehicles
  • Assist with the development of rating and analytical tools such as cash flow and asset coverage models used to evaluate fund debt structures
  • Assist in the quantitative and qualitative preparation and presentation of internal credit memos and publications
  • Participate in diligence meetings with fund management teams to assess their investment acumen, risk management skills, and overall ability to develop and successfully execute strategies
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases
  • Leverage and seamlessly collaborate with KBRA experts in other sectors such as project finance, corporate finance, financial institutions, and structured finance
  • Assist in research for internal and publication purposes.
  • Telecommuting permitted within a normal commuting distance of NY office.
  • Must report to office 3 days per week.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Math or related analytical field
  • 3 years of work experience in credit analysis, finance, accounting, or other related roles, including roles in alternate business services or finance functions such as accounting and advisory services, financial services, or investment banking.
  • 3 years of experience actively participating in strategic conversations with clients, and effectively presenting analysis and recommendations
  • 3 years of professional experience working in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and related Microsoft Office products
  • 2 years of experience utilizing quantitative skills for financial analysis or other project-related functions
  • 2 years of experience writing detailed analytical reports, whether in an analytical function or research-related role
  • 2 years of experience presenting to senior members of a committee or client bases as well as communicating and meeting with C-Suite level staff.
  • Must successfully complete competency-based interview.
  • Telecommuting permitted within a normal commuting distance of NY office
  • Must report to office 3 days per week

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $139,381 to $200,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
