The role

As the AVP, Product Management Solutions, you will be a pivotal leader in driving the success of League's solutions built on our core platform. 

You will build and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers responsible for optimizing the performance of these applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our Canadian healthcare clients and their members. You will play a critical role in defining our market solutions strategy, partnering with sales to help bring it to life and serve as a key point of contact for client solutions and roadmaps. 

You'll leverage your deep understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape and your product management expertise to deliver exceptional value and build lasting relationships with our customers.

In this role, you will:

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers focused on delivering high-impact solutions within the League platform ecosystem.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making within the team.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure team members are equipped to meet and exceed their objectives.
  • Solution Strategy & Execution:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance existing applications and develop new solutions that address unmet needs within the Canadian healthcare market.
    • Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of our applications and inform product development priorities.
    • Work with the go-to-market team to define market solutions League is bringing to market.
    • Establish and refine our solution implementation playbook, ensuring consistency and efficiency in deployments.
    • Lead the definition of customization and integration value propositions and requirements for new and existing clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner closely with Design, Engineering, and other internal teams to define scope, prioritize features, and ensure seamless execution.
    • Collaborate with the broader Product Management leadership team to identify strategic capabilities for the product roadmap.
    • Work closely with our Sales team to represent our product organization in mid-late stage deals to help influence our customers.
    • Represent the Product organization in mid-late stage deals, presenting roadmap, and serving as an expert on the League platform and the solutions it can enable.
  • Customer Engagement & Advocacy:
    • Become a trusted advisor to our customers, understanding their business objectives and ensuring that our solutions exceed their expectations.
    • Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform product strategy and development.
    • Serve as a champion for our users, advocating for their needs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Problem Solving & Risk Management:
    • Proactively identify and resolve issues and roadblocks that may impede the team's ability to meet its goals.
    • Anticipate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful product delivery.

 

About You:

  • 10 years' technical product management experience
  • Advanced experience in the healthcare industry, ideally with a combination of management consulting and product strategy/management experience.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing product management teams.
  • Experience in successfully launching and scaling healthcare technology solutions in the Canadian market.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape, including payers (insurance companies), providers (hospitals, clinics), and government regulations (e.g., privacy laws like PIPEDA, provincial health regulations)

Security-Related Responsibilities

  • Compliance with Information Security Policies
  • Compliance with League’s secure coding practice
  • Ensure access management is performed in compliance with the employee's role and responsibilities
  • Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures within the department/ team
  • Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations

 

CANADA APPLICANTS ONLY: The Canada-specific compensation range below for this full-time position is exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all Canadian locations. Where in the band you may land is determined by job-related skills/experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range specific to your skills and experience during the hiring process.

$196,320 - $249,900 CAD
