The Opportunity:
We are looking for a results-driven Direct-to-Consumer Business Leader to help grow sales revenue and achieve key financial goals across multiple business categories. In this role, you will collaborate with LG’s Leadership Team to build comprehensive business plans and strategies for after-market sales, including Parts & Accessories (P&A) and LG Premium Care, our extended service plan (ESP).
You’ll play a critical role in identifying current challenges, proposing practical solutions, and recommending initiatives that optimize sales performance, enhance profitability, and drive long-term growth. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering results, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Successfully manage and develop a team of Sales Planning professionals in support of LGEAI’s overall business objectives.
- Pricing Strategy: Build a strategic pricing roadmap by sales channel for Parts & Accessories, ensuring a comprehensive and competitive approach.
- Premium Care Partnership: Lead the growth of the Extended Service Plan (ESP) business, integrating warranty offerings into broader product promotions, enhancing direct marketing efforts through customer data, and improving data collection processes.
- D2C Sales Management: Oversee direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales performance on LG.com, coordinating closely with LGEUS teams on platform development and enhancements.
- Sales Channel Expansion: Identify and develop new sales opportunities to increase revenue and profit through new accounts for Parts & Accessories.
- Strategic Planning & Partnership Management: Develop and implement strategies to increase ESP sales and profitability in partnership with external insurance providers; innovate and launch new programs to expand the ESP portfolio.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with LG Sales and Marketing teams to drive alignment and maximize sales effectiveness.
- Operational Coordination: Ensure seamless coordination across internal departments to support sales initiatives and meet KPIs.
- Sales Channel Development: Establish and optimize various sales channels for Installation Parts to expand market reach.
- Market Research & Pricing Strategy: Conduct market research to assess pricing competitiveness and customer sensitivity, adjusting ESP pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting and analysis for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications / Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial planning, project management, or strategic management, preferably within consumer electronics, appliance, or related industries.
- Strong market research skills with the ability to analyze and interpret competitive data.
- Proven ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent data analysis skills, including a strong understanding of statistics and quantitative data interpretation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking ability, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for navigating sensitive issues, ambiguous situations, and organizational change.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio preferred).
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence.
- Bilingual in English and Korean (preferred).
Recruiting Range
$125,000 - $149,000 USD
