ABOUT THIS ROLE
We're looking for a Solutions Security Architect with a passion for secure integrations to join our team. In this role, you'll be the linchpin connecting our cutting-edge LVT platform with a diverse ecosystem of third-party security systems. You'll work directly with customers, understanding their unique security challenges and designing robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions that leverage both current capabilities and our future product roadmap.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect Secure Integrations: Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of secure integrations between the LVT platform and various third-party systems, including Video Management Systems (VMS), alert response platforms (e.g., Immix), and other security solutions (e.g., Fusus).
- Customer Consultation & Solution Design: Engage with customers to understand their current security needs, pain points, and long-term objectives. Translate these into comprehensive technical solutions, advising them on the optimal use of LVT and integrated technologies.
- Roadmap Alignment: Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to understand the LVT platform's future capabilities. Proactively incorporate these roadmap items into customer solution designs, ensuring forward-looking and adaptable architectures.
- Technical Leadership & Guidance: Provide expert guidance on security best practices, data privacy, and compliance within integrated environments. Act as a subject matter expert for both internal teams and external customers.
- Documentation & Standards: Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and security policies. Contribute to the development of integration standards and best practices.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Assist in troubleshooting complex integration issues, working cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and ensure seamless operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10 years in security associated with corporate asset protection/loss prevention/physical facilities.
- Four-year degree in related business field
- Deep Integration Expertise: Proven experience designing and implementing secure integrations between enterprise-level platforms and diverse third-party systems, particularly within the security domain.
- Security Acumen: Strong understanding of security principles, protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML, TLS), encryption, API security, and common vulnerabilities. Experience with various security technologies and frameworks.
- Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Video Management Systems (VMS), physical security information management (PSIM) platforms, and other security-related software and hardware.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively consult with customers, gather requirements, and articulate complex technical solutions clearly.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose innovative solutions, and make sound architectural decisions.
- Technical Versatility: Experience with various integration patterns (e.g., API integrations, message queues, data synchronization) and relevant technologies.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
