As UX UI Engineer you are responsible for applying interactive and visual design principles on websites and web applications for a positive and cohesive user experience. You should be able to present your mockups or prototype using design tools like Figma, Adobe suite and other designing tools.
You Will:
- Help define, drive and implement features that support new functionality, requiring flexible and performant solutions as part of a high-demand customer facing roadmap.
- Acts as the technical liaison between the technology team and non-technical internal and external customers, for functional applications of the tech stack.
- Take ownership for the technical quality of the projects by developing specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the platform product Assesses the audience needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended; adjusts tone and technical terms used to meet those needs and to ensure understanding.
- Push innovation of front-end technologies to further enhance and grow our solution. Introducing new libraries and understanding to ensure our product evolves with the industry.
- Develop library widgets for reuse across the software platform 7 years (Preferred)
- Lead and participate in the creation of prototypes and wireframes
- Participate in design review, deep dives
- Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in designing and prototyping websites or mobile apps.
- 7+ years of experience in design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe suite or other interaction tools)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn/grasp new ideas and concepts.
- High level of organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work at a rapid pace and meet deadlines.
- Team player able to prioritize multi tasks & priorities
- Must have a consumer-centric design approach
- Passionate individual that aspires to combine usability with visual design
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Arts or Human Computer Interaction or other UX disciplines
- Master’s degree preferred
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$123,200 - $184,800 USD
