In this role you are critical in ensuring the success of Lucid and the Brand Team as the Post-Production Supervisor. You are responsible for leading Lucid’s post production excellence by guiding all video projects and ensuring the quality of all work produced. You must be motivated and possess excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to maximize the talents of your creative team.
You are a true team player working cross functionally within the various teams and departments at Lucid. This leader understands how to prioritize and support company goals across content types. This person understands what type of creative can be executed based on the various types of projects, resulting in a refined and deliberate Lucid Brand messaging.
The Post-Production Supervisor has proven storytelling abilities and creates world-class content that delivers against Lucid’s brand standards and drives engagement across all media platforms. You must be highly organized, have a wide range of post production skills and demonstrate a strong understanding of production capabilities. Also responsible for the successful outlook of the team, managing department resources, budgets, workflows and technical systems.
A highly collaborative role, this role interacts with a variety of people day-to-day, including C-suite executives and needs to be versatile, outgoing, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, executing against company initiatives and team development. You are to use your expertise to make sure the post production team works together like a well-oiled machine, consistently hitting the brief while meeting deadlines and creating world-class video content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the post production department and editorial process.
- Manage the workflow of all video work, troubleshoot and collaborate with creative teams and producers to ensure business goals are met.
- Analyze edit times to establish accurate timelines.
- Assist PM and Producers with budget and project management.
- Lead video quality and implement video brand standards.
- Review all incoming video requests and concepts.
- Lead, mentor and manage the Post Production team, developing a collaborative and high performance environment.
- Present and review work directly with CEO and other leadership.
- Ability to step in and execute hands on editorial work during high volume periods.
- Be directly involved in hiring and training of editorial staff.
- Collaborate and partner closely with producers, creatives, finishing team, music
supervisors from ideation through to final master delivery.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Review video creative to help craft storytelling and give notes on feasibility.
- Review and help define shot lists for documentary and editorial shoots.
- Forecast resources and monitor team capacity and contractor availability.
- Review and provide feedback on team member’s work.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of editors, animators and post production contractors.
- Participate in performance reviews for post team members.
- Create world-class branded video content with your exceptional storytelling
abilities and execute daily needs in a timely fashion.
- Be immersed in our company values and passions, instilling the integrity of the
brand in the look, feel in the execution of all video content.
- Collaborate closely with the Brand Director, Sr. Manager Content and Operations Lead to continually evolve brand video identity and aesthetic.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You are proficient: You have deep experience executing brand and product
strategies across video content. You bring your creative brain to the table as well
as your storytelling skills addressing every detail to bring the brand to life.
- You are creative: You have deep knowledge and command of the concept and
execution of product + brand communications and how to collaborate with a
cross-functional team to get a project done. You are always in ‘idea mode’ and
know how to bring people along in your thinking.
- You are a team player: You thrive collaborating with teams and building ideas.
You listen to others to solve creative challenges and take direction when needed.
You can act either as a leader or as an active participant in meetings, according to
the business needs.

guiding various project clients, teams and talents in parallel toward the project
goal.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of full-time experience working in film, pre and post-production
environments leading a team of high-functioning creatives
- Skilled in managing a high volume of creative and content
- Passion for mission-driven brands
- Portfolio of proven brand-defining short and long-form content
- Versed in all aspects of video content production
- Expertise: Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop
- Act as a champion of Lucid brand standards in all aspects of creative work
REPORTING:
As the Post Production Supervisor you will report directly to the Director of Brand.

Base Pay Range (Annual)
$139,100 - $203,940 USD
