Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-cycle construction process for new and remodeled retail showrooms and service centers, ensuring successful delivery from initial due diligence through to project completion.
- Review construction plans and specifications, providing expert feedback on constructability, budget, and schedule impacts to ensure seamless execution.
- Estimate costs and oversee the bidding process, guaranteeing cost-effectiveness while maintaining brand integrity and alignment with project goals.
- Manage project budgets and implement strategic value engineering practices to optimize both costs and project timelines.
- Ensure contractor performance by managing schedules and ensuring that quality standards are consistently met.
- Navigate regulatory compliance by securing the necessary permits, inspections, and ensuring that all legal and safety standards are adhered to.
- Ensure brand consistency by ensuring all stores are aligned with company standards before handover to operations, including comprehensive punch list management.
- Manage the project closeout process, reconciling final budgets, conducting thorough post-project reviews, and ensuring all documentation is finalized and filed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving project deliverables and maintaining alignment on timelines across departments.

Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in retail construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiations and managing relationships with general contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry costs, with the ability to accurately estimate and manage financials across diverse projects, optimizing cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electric vehicle facility experience is strongly preferred including working knowledge of the EV automotive facility development process and typical development issues.
- Degree in Architecture or Construction Management, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$114,600 - $168,080 USD
