Role Overview:

Lucid Motors is seeking a talented Sr. Data Visualization Engineer with expertise in Ignition and Tableau to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights. Your work will directly support both operational and business decision-making by presenting data in clear and accessible visual formats. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to ensuring that real-time data solutions meet both industrial and business intelligence needs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Ignition and Tableau.

· Build real-time dashboards in Ignition, integrating with PLCs and SCADA systems for operational use.

· Use Tableau to create interactive, dynamic dashboards that effectively communicate business insights.

· Collaborate with MES, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver insightful visualizations.

· Set up databases and ensure reliable data pipelines for pulling data into dashboards.

· Ensure data accuracy and scalability by building reliable solutions that support both real-time and historical data analysis.

· Implement best practices in UI/UX and data visualization design for consistent user-friendly experiences.

· Apply SPC techniques to track and monitor key process metrics for improved decision-making.

· Write SQL queries to source data from relational databases for visualizations.

· Use Python to enhance Tableau and Ignition visualizations and automate tasks.

· Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and real-time data streams.

Key Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.

· 3 to 5 years of experience in data visualization, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.

· Proficiency in Ignition for real-time dashboard development, integrating with PLC and SCADA systems.

· Expertise in Tableau for designing advanced, interactive dashboards and custom visualizations.

· Strong understanding of MES concepts and their integration with real-time visualizations.

· Proficiency in Python for automating and enhancing data visualizations.

· Proficiency in SQL for database setup, data extraction, and querying complex datasets.

· Experience integrating data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and real-time streams.

· Solid understanding of SPC principles for monitoring and analyzing key manufacturing metrics.

· Ability to analyze large data sets and translate them into clear, actionable insights.

Skills:

· Expertise in Ignition and Tableau platforms, with a focus on creating scalable, user-friendly dashboards.

· Proficient in Python for automating tasks and enhancing visualizations.

· Proficient in SQL for managing databases and extracting data.

· Knowledge of SPC techniques for data monitoring and process control.

· Strong understanding of MES and its application in real-time manufacturing operations.

· Excellent communication skills to work across departments and with stakeholders.
