
Stamping Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Stamping Maintenance Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art stamping facility in Arizona. In this role, you will be Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing stamping equipment and related machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety standards. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring high-quality production, troubleshooting machine issues, and contributing to continuous process improvement. You will:
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, including sensors, motor controls, wiring, and circuit protection devices.
- Diagnose and maintain hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and fluid power components to ensure proper pressure, flow and functionality.
- Inspect, repair, and calibrate pneumatic circuits, actuators, and air supply systems for consistent performance.
- Conduct precision alignment and calibration of conveyors, belts, chains high volume blowers and shredders
- Troubleshoot and execute comprehensive repairs on precision mechanical components such as bearings, gears, shafts, couplings etc. to minimize downtime.
- Interpret and apply electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and hydraulic diagrams for accurate troubleshooting and repair planning.
- Verify all repairs are compliant with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and ANSI standards.
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and parts replacements, in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Maintain readiness to respond to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment functionality under time-sensitive conditions.
You Bring:
- Strong technical expertise, including advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed instructions.
- Solid understanding of electricity, pneumatics, and mechanical principles to support effective problem‑solving and system optimization.
- Hands‑on experience working with robots, conveyors, PLCs, and other automated manufacturing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and ANSI requirements, with a strong commitment to safe work practices.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, leadership, and outside vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within stamping operations or complex manufacturing environments.
- Educational background including a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
- Experience with stamping press lines and verification or experience with industrial controls (preferred).
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for overtime and weekend work when required.
Capability to operate heavy equipment, such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, 15K forklifts, and overhead cranes
