
Social Media Manager
Lucid has built a strong social presence, and now we're accelerating growth through human-first storytelling and cultural relevance. We need someone to execute this evolution day-to-day—managing content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn, and X. You'll own the calendar, coordinate production, optimize performance, and create content yourself when speed, authenticity, or opportunity demands it. Working within our strategic framework, you'll create scroll-stopping content that leads with emotion and proves engineering excellence.
What You Will Do:
Content Strategy & Performance (50%)
- Own day-to-day content calendar across all platforms, ensuring strategic pillar balance
- Monitor platform trends and identify cultural opportunities for the brand
- Analyze content performance across platforms and identify optimization opportunities
- Track key metrics and provide regular performance insights
- Monitor community sentiment and conduct social listening to inform content strategy
- Provide strategic direction on community engagement and response approach
- Coordinate with Social Media Coordinator on publishing and community management
- Make real-time decisions on content prioritization and publishing strategy
- Develop and test new content formats aligned to strategic goals
- A/B test formats, messaging, and timing to improve results
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate social across enterprise-wide initiatives and campaigns
- Manage social governance processes and provide guidance to teams across the organization
Production & Creative Development (50%)
- Create mobile-first video content for quick-turn opportunities and reactive moments
- Shoot and edit compelling short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
- Capture opportunistic moments (employee stories, owner testimonials, cultural trends)
- Develop creative briefs and mockups for external production when needed
- Maintain brand voice and visual standards across all content
- Be ready to grab your iPhone and tell a story when the moment happens
- Coordinate with creative partners on content production needs when available
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple work streams and concurrent projects with precision and accountability
- Use project management tools such as SmartSheet, Asana, or similar platforms to track timelines, deliverables, and dependencies
- Ensure alignment across stakeholders and maintain clear communication on project status
- Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
What You Bring:
Required:
- 5–7 years managing social media for brands (agency or brand-side)
- Deep platform expertise across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Proven ability to identify and act on platform trends before they peak
- Strong analytical skills with experience optimizing content based on performance data
- Hands-on video production skills—can shoot and edit mobile-first content
- Excellent creative briefing and communication skills
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to influence without authority
- Point of view on content creators, influencers, and talent partnerships that elevate storytelling
- Ability to move fast while maintaining quality standards
- Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Sprinklr
Preferred:
- Experience with premium, lifestyle, or aspirational brands
- Background in fast-paced, high-visibility brand environments
- Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social, CapCut, or similar platforms
- Understanding of paid social amplification strategies

Base Pay Range (Annual)
$139,100 - $204,050 USD
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
