Direct Procurement Associate

As a Direct Procurement Associate, you will support day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and components for production. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn the fundamentals of procurement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

You Will: 

• Create and process purchase orders for direct materials in alignment with production schedules. 
• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and supplier communications. 
• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, or delivery dates. 
• Collaborate with internal teams (planning, logistics, quality) to support smooth material flow. 
• Update procurement systems and dashboards with current data for reporting purposes. 
• Support supplier onboarding and documentation requirements as needed. 

You Bring: 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
• Basic understanding of purchasing or supply chain processes (preferred but not required). 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. 
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams. 
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn procurement best practices.
