
Direct Procurement Associate
As a Direct Procurement Associate, you will support day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and components for production. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn the fundamentals of procurement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You Will:
- Create and process purchase orders for direct materials in alignment with production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and supplier communications.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, or delivery dates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (planning, logistics, quality) to support smooth material flow.
- Update procurement systems and dashboards with current data for reporting purposes.
- Support supplier onboarding and documentation requirements as needed.
You Bring:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic understanding of purchasing or supply chain processes (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn procurement best practices.
