Are you ready to sit at the high-stakes intersection of sales strategy and operational excellence? We’re looking for a Deal Strategy Analyst to join our Order Management powerhouse. In this role, you aren’t just processing paperwork; you are the architect of the deal. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership to bridge the gap between our innovative technology and our global customers, ensuring every transaction is as seamless as the products we build. As Lucid continues to scale, your role will evolve, offering you a front-row seat (and a steering wheel) to our growth.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team in the quote-to-billing process with accuracy and correctness
- Work closely with both the Deal Strategy, Order Management, Renewals, and Commission teams to maintain uniform policies and procedures across the larger Deal Desk team
- Review and approve quotes and contracts for accuracy and completeness in our CRM
- Create, revise, and review all quotes and contracts requests for varying levels of deal size and complexity in our CRM system
- Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies
- Develop an in-depth understanding of licensing models and recommend contract structures based on client use case
- Become a subject matter expert for Lucid’s business rules of engagement across all products and departments
- Drive process improvements to current order process to improve sales rep experience as well as reduce error rates and increase revenue retention
- Drive, lead, and guide approaches to deal strategy and appropriate billing structures
- Work cross-functionally with all departments, including Sales, Accounting, Legal, and Revenue Operations
- Be an advocate and partner to internal organizations by understanding the complex needs of the sales and Revenue Operations organizations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree
- 1+ years Deal Desk/Deal Strategy or Sales experience in a SaaS company
- Strong attention to detail, both as a processor and as a reviewer
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to evolving processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with sales, operations, customer success, legal and accounting teams
- Passion for working cross-departmentally with internal customers and stakeholders on complex business processes and projects
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve shared team objectives
- Innovative, highly motivated, and success-driven approach to work activities
- Excellent work ethic and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and follow defined process requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years relevant Salesforce experience
- Experience working with legal teams to write business terms on order forms
- Experience in a revenue or finance role
