In this role, you will own significant product areas, work closely with airfocus’ co-founder and Head of Product Malte Scholz (based in Hamburg), and collaborate deeply with our US-based product, design, and engineering partners.

This role is suited for a senior product manager who combines strong product fundamentals with hands-on experience shipping AI-powered features and a deep interest in product management tooling and Product Operations.

Your profile:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead one or more EMEA-based product teams, owning day-to-day product direction, discovery, and delivery for your product areas
  • Re-imagine how product management teams collaborate before and after work lands in Jira – across product strategy, OKRs, roadmaps, insights, prioritization, and more
  • Translate company and product strategy into clear initiatives, problems to solve, and outcomes for your teams
  • Drive discovery and validation to de-risk solutions early, working closely with design and engineering
  • Ship high-quality features to production, including AI-powered capabilities, and iterate based on real usage and feedback
  • Use AI tools as part of your daily PM workflow to improve speed, clarity, and quality of outputs
  • Collaborate closely with airfocus’ Head of Product and US-based product counterparts to ensure alignment across regions
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to understand customer needs and support successful launches
  • Mentor and support other product managers, contributing to a strong and consistent product management practice
  • Use airfocus to build a better airfocus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of software Product Management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record of improving core product and business metrics
  • Strong product sense with the ability to identify the right problems and make informed trade-offs
  • Deep interest in modern product management and familiarity with industry-shaping concepts and frameworks popularized by thought leaders such as Marty Cagan, Lenny Rachitsky, Teresa Torres, and others influencing how product teams operate today
  • Ability to de-risk work by validating hypotheses early through qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, designers, sales, executives, customers, and end users
  • Strong understanding of how to create simple, intuitive, and high-quality user experiences
  • Excellent working relationship with engineering and UX partners
  • Proven ability to take feedback, learn quickly, and adapt
  • Strong eye for polish, design quality, and brand within a product
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience shipping AI-powered features or products to production
  • Hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate discovery, synthesis, prioritization, and specification

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
