Job Overview:
The Senior Oracle ERP Developer plays a pivotal role in configuring, developing, customizing, and maintaining our Oracle Fusion ERP system. This role ensures the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our business-critical ERP systems, enhancing overall business operations. As a Senior Developer, you will have the opportunity to shape Minitab’s Oracle ERP landscape and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, aligned solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Configuration & Development 

  • Design, plan, implement, test, document, and deliver configurations and customizations across ERP modules (e.g., Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing) in alignment with business requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and secure solutions.

  • Contribute to initiatives that automate testing, optimize performance, and manage technical debt.

  • Conduct proof-of-concept exercises to foster innovation and enhance ERP application capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent system defects, including issues that span across systems beyond your primary expertise.

System Integration 

  • Develop and maintain integrations between the Oracle ERP system and other enterprise business platforms (e.g., eCommerce, Marketing Automation, Learning Management Systems, and Sales/Finance applications) to ensure seamless data flow and robust connectivity.

  • Utilize approved integration technologies, including APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), ETL platforms, and prebuilt connectors.

  • Contribute to the continuous development and maintenance of integrations while adhering to best practices for security, performance, and scalability.

Technical Leadership & Support 

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle ERP development, providing guidance and support to technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Stay current with Oracle Fusion ERP advancements and apply best practices to improve system performance and capability.

  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to initiatives that enhance Minitab’s Oracle ERP strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud development, including configuration, customization, and support.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proficiency with ERP modules (CRM, Finance, Marketing, HCM, EPM) and custom application development within PaaS environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ADF/JET, VBCS, and Fusion APIs, with experience integrating via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI reporting tools, and developing data models for custom reports.

  • Skilled in REST Web Services, FBDI, ADF DI, and Oracle ERP workflows.

  • Proficient in extending and customizing Oracle ERP modules using Application Composer and page personalization techniques.

  • Experience in Fusion Middleware and OIC process automation for efficient integration across enterprise systems.

  • Knowledge of Fusion ESS jobs, lookups, flex fields (DFF, EFF, KFF), and Fusion functional setup configurations.
