Sales Technology Intern

The Sales Technology Intern will help us to effectively utilize our sales team’s internal technology and tools.  Your objective is to understand the team’s goals and barriers, then assist in the below areas: 

Tool Management and Optimization: 

  • Maintain and update process documentation for sales tools to ensure accuracy and usability. 
  • Monitor tool usage and adoption to provide actionable insights for improvement. 
  • Generate and distribute weekly and/or monthly KPI reports to track tool effectiveness and sales performance. 
  • Perform occasional minor user maintenance and updates within sales tools 
  • Update tool content to support sales engagement strategies. 
  • Create and manage targeted lists using CRM, Zoom, D&B, and other data sources for outreach and sales initiatives. 

Technology, Tool(s), and Process Support: 

  • Stay informed on new sales tool features and functionalities to maximize their potential and optimize sales processes. 
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Sales Teams, and Enablement teams to gain feedback that assists in refining processes, systems, and strategies for improved efficiency. 
  • Provide ongoing support for system enhancements, workflow automation, and process improvements. 
  • Work with end-users to ensure they are leveraging tools effectively and provide recommendations for better utilization. 
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to develop and deliver training for new tools, updates, and best practices. 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Support the Global Sales Development and Enablement Team with project and task management as needed. 
  • Assist in special projects and initiatives as directed by Sales Development and Enablement Team. 
  • Participate in team meetings, document discussions, and contribute insights to optimize sales tool effectiveness. 

 

The Candidate: 

  • Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data-driven insights. 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams. 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to drive operational improvements. 
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales engagement tools, and data management systems is a plus. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing sales technologies and business requirements.

MUST be available to work onsite at our Minitab Corporate Headquarters in State College, PA.
