Role: Global Product Marketing Lead, Commerce/ Omnichannel

THE OPPORTUNITY

MiQ is not your average programmatic media partner. We are experts in data science, analytics and omnichannel programmatic trading with a focus on quality and performance. We are seeking a motivated, dynamic Product Marketing Lead to support our growing global team. 

Reporting to the VP, Global Product Marketing, you will own and lead the execution of the GTM strategy for our Commerce OR Omnichannel media solution, a key strategic growth area across our major markets. Working closely with Sales, Product, Marketing and Tech teams, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on how we position, target and activate our sales and marketing of MiQ Commerce to advertisers and agencies, as well as informing and supporting scoping and testing of the product roadmap.  This includes both the strategic conceptualization of the go-to-market approach in line with company and product goals and working with global and local marketing teams to execute those strategies. You’ll use your talent for market analysis, product knowledge, creative storytelling and tactical efficiency to drive revenue across the globe.

If you are a seasoned, independent Product Marketer with a flair for narrative creation and a deep understanding of the programmatic landscape -  in particular retail media, shopper marketing and commerce data and measurement -  we want to hear from you. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • SCOPING: Capture and curate user needs, problems, and opportunities. Undertake competitive and market analysis. Work with Product to translate these into new features that are prioritized based on impact.
  • DEVELOPMENT: Work with Product and Tech teams to develop a deep knowledge of the capabilities of our Commerce planning, activation and measurement capabilities and how they drive outcomes for marketers, in order to effectively build and communicate the positioning, messaging and storytelling narrative, benefits and processes to sales and their clients, as well as traders and analysts internally. Help keep alpha and beta testing on track.
  • LAUNCH: In partnership with Sales and Marketing, you’ll plan, communicate, execute and measure all aspects of MiQ’s Commerce go-to-market, including: refining product positioning and target audience definition / producing eye-catching sales collateral including pitch slides, one pagers and case studies / defining and owning internal communications around our Commerce solutions / working with local market PMMs and a network of GTM experts to roll out releases internally / advising the marketing team on activation and content.
  • ADOPTION: Track OKRs, support the measurement & reporting of product adoption, strategize with product, marketing and local GTM teams to increase adoption & efficiency in using our solutions.

YOUR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience in a product marketing or commercial strategy role
  • Experience in an ad tech business, or media agency
  • Expert stakeholder and people management skills including delegation, persuasion, accountability and feedback.
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, in particular retail media and shopper marketing
  • A record of increasing levels of responsibility and achievement
  • Experience and comfort working in a very fast, dynamic, quickly-changing environment

  • Commercially minded, with an ability to build attractive packaging and pricing models.

  • Proactively open and transparent on work priorities and progress with all stakeholders via appropriate channels
  • Uses knowledge of internal stakeholders to influence them
  • Approaches change and the need for agility with a positive attitude.

COMMUNICATION:

  • Confident, clear and compelling public speaker both internally and externally
  • Excellent persuasive writing skills
  • Collateral design flair.
  • Communicates to exec level on progress on key initiatives and shares clear business impact metrics from the ongoing investment.

Pay Transparency 

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $175,000-$195,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
