Senior Director, Marketing Technology

Senior Director, Marketing Technology

Location: Bay Area (Preferred) or New York (Secondary)

The Opportunity

We reach over 100M+ people, and we're building the marketing technology engine to serve every one of them. This is a chance to architect a modern, AI-first MarTech ecosystem from a position most companies never get: massive existing audience, real consumer products, and no mandate to preserve the old way of doing things. You aren't joining to maintain a stack. You're joining to design the one that powers how the most-watched brand in the world acquires, engages, and grows its audience.

The Mandate

You will own the strategy, architecture, and operation of the entire marketing technology ecosystem across our portfolio. This includes:

  • Build a scalable, governed MarTech architecture that powers customer acquisition, recommendations, and measurement across every channel.
  • Develop a privacy-safe customer data foundation that enables deep audience understanding and exceptional experiences — directly and through partnerships
  • Own the roadmap for across marketing operations, automation, and measurement, including how we test new capabilities to improve and automate campaign, data, and reporting workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a key marketing technology leader, establishing the technical standards, governance model, and team structure from the ground up.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, IT, Data, Revenue Operations, and Product leadership to align technology priorities and roadmaps.
  • Own the platform roadmap for systems that touch millions, driving from evaluation to adoption with a clear sense of urgency.
  • Build and scale a high-performing team across marketing operations, automation, customer data, and platform administration — starting foundational and growing into a multi-team org over time.
  • Set the standard for how MarTech is done here: AI-enabled tooling, automation, and modern data practices are the baseline, not the exception.
  • Drive customer data strategy, segmentation, identity resolution, and audience activation, and build measurement frameworks.

Who You Are

  • AI-Native: You're already using AI to multiply marketing output, and you have a point of view on where it goes next.
  • Battle-Tested: You've operated enterprise MarTech at scale (Braze, Salesforce) but retain the hands-on instincts of an operator who builds.
  • Outcome Owner: You have a track record of scaling marketing technology that drove measurable growth (not just platform rollouts).
  • Leader: You can operate in high ambiguity, influence executives who disagree, and are known for attracting and developing top-tier talent.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years in marketing technology, marketing operations, or digital transformation.
  • 5+ years leading managers and cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and scaling enterprise MarTech platforms (Braze, Salesforce, etc) and ecosystems (CDP, marketing automation, CRM, analytics).
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organization-wide transformation.
  • Bonus: experience leading AI-enabled marketing transformation, or supporting global / multi-brand organizations.

Benefits

  • Equity: Highly competitive equity package designed for a foundational hire.
  • Hybrid Model: Expected ~3 days per week in-office (Bay Area or NYC).

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
