We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Demand Generation to lead our efforts in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns that generate and accelerate pipeline within the legal industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal services, technology for law firms and corporate legal departments, and a proven ability to attract, engage, and convert prospects through both inbound and outbound strategies.
This role will partner closely with sales, business development, and subject matter experts to drive qualified opportunities and increase brand visibility across law firms, legal departments, and other legal service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of demand generation marketers across inbound and outbound
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and growth through regular feedback, coaching, and performance development.
- Support upskilling across campaign strategy, technology, and legal industry expertise.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, content, and product marketing to align goals and ensure cohesive campaign execution.
Inbound Marketing Responsibilities
- Digital & Email Marketing
- Lead digital campaign strategy across paid search, display, legal media platforms, and social channels like LinkedIn.
- Design automated email nurture programs segmented by persona, buying stage, and firm size.
- Website & Conversion Optimization
- Oversee website performance, ensuring landing pages are optimized for lead capture and conversion.
- Use A/B testing and analytics to refine messaging, CTAs, and forms
Outbound Marketing Responsibilities
- Events & Industry Engagement
- Plan and execute event strategies, including sponsorships, webinars, and key legal conferences (e.g., ILTACON, Legalweek).
- Coordinate with legal publications and associations for brand exposure and lead acquisition.
- Outbound Campaigns
- Build outbound campaigns that support BDRs and account managers with tailored messaging, assets, and cadences.
- Leverage data and insights to refine targeting strategies and personalize outreach by segment.
Analytics & Optimization
- Define, monitor, and report on KPIs including MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, CAC, and campaign ROI.
- Build dashboards to provide performance visibility to executive leadership and sales counterparts.
- Continuously analyze performance to refine strategy and ensure campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 8–10+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and platforms (e.g., generative AI, predictive analytics, chatbots) to enhance campaign personalization, content creation, lead scoring, and marketing efficiency.
- Proven success in building and scaling demand generation programs in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
- Deep understanding of funnel management, lead scoring, and lifecycle marketing.
- Hands-on experience with Marketo, Salesforce and Google Analytics
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on performance metrics, ROI, and pipeline impact.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Compensation Transparency
The compensation range for this position is: $180,000k- $190,000.00 base
The posted cash compensation for this position includes on target earnings. Some roles may qualify for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are determined based on various factors specific to each candidate, such as career level, skills, experience, geographic location, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
