The Role

We're looking for an Associate Recruiter to help grow and scale our teams in Hong Kong office. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership, bringing a strategic, consultative mindset to support the full recruitment lifecycle.

You’ll build strong pipelines across both technical and non-technical roles, while delivering an inclusive and thoughtful candidate experience. You’ll experiment with creative sourcing strategies, bring data to your decision-making, and help shape scalable processes that evolve with the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own the end-to-end recruitment process across technical and non-technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates, while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Be a Trusted Talent Partner: Take a consultative approach with hiring managers and leadership by advising on market trends, candidate profiles, recruiting processes, and strategies that align with business goals, providing guidance to ensure a fair, inclusive, and effective hiring experience.
  • Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies: Leverage creative and data-driven sourcing techniques to engage passive talent through platforms like LinkedIn, social media, referrals, recruitment events and industry networks. Be proficient in using tools and systems such as ATS, job boards, and recruiting software to manage pipelines efficiently.
  • Pipeline & Market Intelligence: Build and maintain strong pipelines and talent networks, while grounding your sourcing strategies in market research, role complexity, and business needs.
  • Integrity & Candidate Experience: Possess a high degree of ethical integrity, maintaining confidentiality, fairness, and respect for candidates throughout the recruitment process, while positively representing the company’s brand and image.
  • People-Centered Talent Approach: Be people-oriented, with a strong focus on attracting and retaining top talent, while representing and presenting the company’s image, vision, and mission in a way that genuinely reflects our culture.
  • Intern & Campus Recruitment: Support intern and graduate hiring initiatives by coordinating campus recruitment efforts, organizing or participating in recruitment talks, and building strong relationships with universities and student organizations to grow Nex’s early talent pipeline.
  • Support Onboarding & Employer Brand: Coordinate onboarding logistics and act as a brand ambassador at events, helping to elevate Nex’s talent brand and recruitment journey.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience recruiting for a range of technical roles (e.g., Game Engineers, Developer Experience Engineer, ML Engineer, Game Artist, Technical Artist, UI/UX Designer, QA, etc.)
  • Direct experience working in the gaming or entertainment industry is highly desirable
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) i.e. Greenhouse
  • Collaborative team player with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to connect effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly proactive and adaptable, comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while independently managing responsibilities
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, skilled at managing large volumes of hiring activities efficiently and promptly
