Accounts Receivable Associate (External Agency Staff)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Accounts Receivable Associate (Royalties and Advertising Sales) plays a key role in supporting the NFL in royalty and advertising sales reporting, oversight and maintenance. This position will be able to assist with accounts receivable related questions/concerns while ensuring company policies and audit procedures are being followed. This position will communicate and collaborate within finance and all other departments across the league to record and process various transactions as well as provide reports and findings. This position is for a fixed 6 month assignment. 

Responsibilities

  • Review and process licensee statements for royalty reporting accurately and timely 
  • Action maintenance requests of royalty reporting system 
  • Review and action aging report for outstanding royalty invoices 
  • Validation of integrity of royalty reports to ERP system 
  • Prepare royalty cash forecasts for Treasury 
  • Review royalty relationships for adherence to important benchmarks and timelines 
  • Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance to terms/conditions in all calculations 
  • Correspondence with licensees and NFL Licensing teams to resolve royalty discrepancies 
  • Various non-routine assignments and ad-hoc reports related to royalty activities 
  • Generate and send invoices for Ad Sales customers 
  • Perform maintenance requests in the Ad Sales system 
  • Be an active part of the Cash Management team 

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of accounts receivable and/or finance experience preferred 
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong Excel skills required 
  • Experience using ERP tool 

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Professional experience with accounting responsibilities 
  • Experience with RightsLogic, Wide Orbit, Oracle Cloud

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • This position is required to work 40 hours per week. No overtime or weekends are required.  
  • This position is for a fixed 6 month assignment. 
  • This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency. 

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

 

Salary

$30 - $33 USD
