The Opportunity

 

The Creative Lead will be a dual role, working across Ogilvy's diverse capabilities.

 

Primarily, this will be leading Ogilvy UK's creative output across all Coca-Cola Company projects for world famous brands like Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta. This will include working alongside other creative, strategic, and business leads around the globe, both within Ogilvy and the wider WPP network.

 

The Creative Lead will be responsible for elevating the creative work, spotting opportunities for ever more famous work, and constantly pushing for creative excellence. In 2024, Coca-Cola was named Brand of the Year at Cannes, so the bar is high.

 

Secondarily, the Creative Lead will be responsible for overseeing the creative output on certain WPP x Coca-Cola Company projects across EMEA. This role is part quality control, part troubleshooting, part creative inspiration.

 

This position will play a key role in:

 

Creatively leading multiple projects from concept to completion – we’ll rely on you setting and inspiring creative ambition, bold thinking and unexpected ideas with the creative teams and projects under your steward.

 

A hands-on creative – As a creative, we’ll expect you to work alongside the department on conceptual projects, to develop new creative ideas. You will focus on elevating the creative output of the department for the agency and its clients.

  • Creating award winning creative work for the agency.

Responsibilities of the Creative Lead

  • Act as the creative lead on work, delivering world-class creative work.
  • Be accountable for the execution of creative work created under your stewardship.
  • Maintain high levels of execution and excellence across all creative work. 
  • Thinking disruptively - your role is to approach things from a different angle and successfully create new solutions business challenges and creative process.
  • Change orientation – your always open to new ideas and ways of working. 
  • Encouraging and inspiring creative ambition, bold thinking, and unexpected ideas. 
  • Creating the atmosphere and room for brand-defining creativity, galvanising in the face
    of client relationships, and making the right structure for creative groups to operate.
  • Driving a culture of creative inclusion, bringing your unique self and perspective to
    the agency.
  • Demonstrating a sharp POV on the principles of creativity, marketing, and advertising.
  • Help mentor and develop more junior talent.

 

Your previous experience:

  • Experience of leading creative groups, both nationally and internationally; overseeing
    and developing top quality work.
  • Experience of creating campaigns across social media and other digital touchpoints.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high impact work on time and on budget.
  • An understanding of multi-platform thinking and techniques as well as a desire to create innovative work.
