Responsibilities:

Medical Team Focus:

The Medical team’s primary focus is to provide medical consultation and scientific background for campaigns and projects. It also advises clients and agency-members. In this context the medical team always ensures and provides the best possible services related to high science, medical writing, compliancy and healthcare-marketing.

Execution of Service:

Ensure the professional and timely execution of all requested services, maintaining a high level of scientific expertise and healthcare marketing proficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business, brands, and indications.
  • Ensure compliance with health industry standards, company policies, and HWG regulations.
  • Quickly adapt to new and diverse medical topics (e.g., cardiology, immunology, oncology, neurology, and patient needs).
  • Prepare scientific presentations and translate medical content into marketing-oriented communication in collaboration with the team.
  • Participate in client meetings, collaborate with external interest groups, provide expert medical advice, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Act as a competent point of contact for clients, maintaining relationships with external medical professionals.
  • Serve as a key resource for up-to-date medical and scientific content.
  • Support and collaborate with other departments (creative and customer care).
  • Supervise junior marketing consultants and working students.
  • Advise on the medical accuracy and relevance of content for communication projects.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality, accuracy, budget, and timing requirements.
  • Train and provide further education to team members.
  • Support launch and post-launch activities.
  • Contribute to strategy development.

Education/ Professional Experience:

  • Completed scientific (biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology) or medical studies.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a junior medical consultant, preferably in a healthcare marketing agency or medical education.

Special Knowledge/ Requirements:

  • Doctorate / PhD.
  • Proficiency in German.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Promotional content development expertise.
  • Confident use of the English language.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs.
  • Ability to work with precision and a high degree of accuracy and reliability.
  • Motivated to continuously learn and share knowledge.
  • Fluent writing skills in English.
  • Beneficial: Knowledge of the audit program Veeva PM.
