Senior Financial Business Systems Administrator
This will be a remote role to start, with plans to transition to hybrid 2x/week in office, likely in downtown Toronto, Canada.

About the Role:
The Senior Financial Business Systems Administrator will sit on the Enterprise Systems Team that is within the Technology Operations organization. This individual will partner with finance, business, analytics, product, and engineering to help build and deliver projects/products that increase business efficiency and automate global teams' business processes. Not only will they lead as the primary NetSuite administrator and handle maintenance of the global NetSuite ERP system, but also ensure its optimal performance, accuracy, and reliability.
This role has responsibilities spanning product development, delivery, and operational support for monthly financial close cycles, so flexible work hours will be required to coordinate with global tasks and teams (NA, EMEA, and APAC)
In this role, you will:
- Serve as NetSuite's primary administrator, handling customizations, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure a reliable system.
- Create customized reports and dashboards to meet the reporting needs of cross-functional partners.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security across all global entities.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency, performing regular audits and data quality checks.
- Implement and maintain workflows, scripts, and custom fields to enhance system functionality, efficiency, and usability.
- Test, validate, and document system changes in accordance with SOX requirements; act as a primary owner of key SOX controls for NetSuite ERP.
- Coordinate user access reviews and system/monitoring controls to ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system or data integrity issues, make system modifications and improvements; provide timely support to global end-users.
- Support system integrations with internal custom applications and third-party applications such as Salesforce, Workday, SoftCo, Expensify, DocuSign, etc.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors on walkthroughs and general Netsuite testing and automated controls.
- Proactively manage tickets & projects relating to NetSuite functionality, ensuring timely & effective resolution.
- Provide training and support to end users and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities as needed.
- Stay current with NetSuite and best practices.
Please apply if you have:
- 5+ years of expert NetSuite knowledge.
- Supported monthly financial close, and have a solid understanding of finance processes (cash, procure to pay, record to report domains, accounting principles).
- Attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity; data analytics, reporting, and database experience desired.
- Critical thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter demeanor, adaptability, and excitement to learn and grow!
- Experience with system implementations and working with integrations across internal custom-built applications as well as third-party applications.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Canada-located role is 110,000-140,000 CAD.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
