Senior Product Manager, Retail Banking
Summary
This is a new Product Squad that will be built in the US to support our Core Banking go-to-market strategy in terms of product adaptation and localization.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute the value delivery strategy for our core banking platform, focused on Retail Banking products and domestic payment rails in the US market.
- Monitor industry standards, market trends and technological innovations, including mapping needs, insights and feedback with our current clients and prospects.
- Understand the US Core Banking market in depth, including its most popular products, competitive landscape, regulatory aspects and trends.
- Monitor the launch of new regulations by regulatory entities and other entities to prioritize demands with the development team.
- Develop the product roadmap seeking to optimize the delivery of value to clients (current and future) and to Pismo.
- Evaluate, together with engineering and business development, the approaches available to implement the product roadmap: build, partner, buy.
- Develop and monitor product solutions throughout their entire life cycle and ensure product quality, including non-functional aspects such as: integrity, resilience and scalability.
- Prioritize and manage the product evolution backlog.
- Work together and monitor engineering deliveries using agile models.
- Cooperate with other teams to develop "cross squads" evolutions
Minimum Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Relevant experience with a successful track record of working with Retail and SME banking products in the US
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one core banking platform
- Experience of working in an agile environment using tools such as Jira, Miro, etc
- This person needs to be fairly technical to work with engineering team and be able to understand APIs, system design principles.
- This person should have prior demonstrable experience in building products at scale.
- Ability to prioritize and manage parallel feature delivery schedules.
Desirable Qualifications
- Working knowledge of APIs, Postman, and AWS cloud computing environment.
