Job Summary 

The FP&A Data Analyst heavily supports FP&A VP and Business Partners in collecting and cleansing data, designing new reports & dashboards, and performing ad-hoc analyses within a rapidly changing business environment. The position plays an integral role in streamlining data provision, increasing availability, scope and consistency of business insights, and supporting day-to-day and project-based business operations through effective use of data.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the FP&A VP and Business Partners in designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting reports and analyses across Excel, PowerBI and SalesForce  
  • Perform data checks and reconciliation between various data sources as required 
  • Support the collection and consolidation of data required for regular financial and operational reporting 
  • Execute and innovate the process of consolidating data and preparing the presentation materials for weekly and monthly business performance reviews  
  • Work closely with the Finance leadership team to build the financial infrastructure to support the company’s current and future business requirements  
  • Identify, create, and drive process optimizations by developing dynamic and automated reports and dashboards to scale across the business  
  • Deliver timely and insightful financial performance and metrics analysis on an ongoing basis  
  • Support various operational improvement projects as required 
  • Collaborate closely with the business stakeholders to provide support in reporting and ad-hoc analyses or data requests, particularly in projects involving variance analysis/reporting and key metric reporting 
  • Lead the documentation of reporting landscape, key metric definitions, report ownership, version control and other guardrails ensuring consistency of data provision across the business. 

Technical Skills / Competencies 

  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • PowerBI 
  • PowerQuery & PowerAutomate

Nice to have: Forecasting software (Adaptive, Anaplan, etc.), T-SQL, database architecture 

Education & Experience 

  • 3-5 years experience in data analysis 
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex template building 
  • Experience in development, design and management of operational dashboards and self-service reports in Excel and PowerBI 
  • Ability to efficiently navigate, query and synthesize data across multiple large and often complex data sources 
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels 
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills  
  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for accurate, high-quality work
