Project Engineer
Job Summary:
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for learning new systems and devising innovative solutions? Proconex is looking for a dynamic Project Engineer to join our automated machinery manufacturing team. In this role, you'll leverage your PLC expertise to create impactful solutions for clients in diverse industries such as Life Sciences, Chemical, Power, Refining, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Paper, Metals, and other industries, as well as commercial enterprises and campus facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Along with account managers and engineers from our Emerson DeltaV team, visit current clients to better understand their business and how it can be improved with automated machinery manufacturing technology.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions to PLC and other automation technology, including accurate BOM (bill of materials) and project estimates.
- Apply your knowledge of PLC programming to support project requirements.
- Lead projects and teams, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
- Be a visionary, contributing to the company's growth and expansion.
Qualifications:
- Experience in project engineering or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead projects and teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with quoting and project estimation.
- Knowledge of PLC programming for automated machinery manufacturing.
- Ability to learn new automated machinery manufacturing markets and develop business strategies.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to expand opportunities and drive growth.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
