We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Program Manager to drive operational excellence for the Operations Program Management Team. From NPI through EOL you will be responsible for orchestrating all operational activities. You will be in the forefront working across all functional organizations within operations and applicable areas to optimize operational efficiencies. With your passion for program management, you will help to define the future of how Pure Storage scales and supports its global demand.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…
- Lead multiple Operations teams on NPI/Sustaining/EOL activities.
- Manage products & services programs in concert with cross-functional stakeholders and functional core teams.
- Manage product transitions to optimize TTM (time to market) and minimize E&O (excess and obsolete) expenses.
- Drive planning and execution of deliverables for each program with your cross functional core teams with the goal of scaling in volume and quality at our contract manufacturers the innovation coming from our engineering teams.
- Drive process improvement initiatives through cross functional collaboration to ensure efficiencies at scale.
- Drive initiatives to improve internal processes and support quality across Operations
- Provide comprehensive and consistent program visibility to stakeholders, executives and team members via portals, dashboards and metrics.
- Use exceptional communication and team building skills to accurately convey project strategy, program risks & dependencies, manage issues & mitigations that deliver on the overall success of the program through effective cross functional collaboration and building
- high trust and working relationships.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THIS ROLE:
- 10+ years of a strong, proven track record in one or more of the following disciplines: Program and Project Management / New Product Introduction / Sustaining & EOL. ● 5+ years managing large scale, complex cross-functional global programs in a high-tech environment.
- Sound organizational, project management, communication skills and material management knowledge.
- Soft skills to appropriately influence and build trust with cross functional team members
- Track record of taking end-to-end ownership, solving problems and successfully delivering results and has an unrelenting tenacity to get things done.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. In addition, you bring fun to the work environment.
- Business, Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree and/or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $145,000- $218,000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
