Senior Manager - Partnerships
Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
The Role:
Razorpay is looking for a sales manager for their channel partnership team who can drive growth & penetration for their payout solutions under RazorpayX (https://razorpay.com/x/). The person would be leading a team of 10+ energetic sales ninjas who work with hundreds of chartered accountants as channel partners and be tasked with enabling millions of businesses in India to adopt Razorpay's payout solutions like business banking, payroll, vendor payments and help in reimagining money movement needs for businesses in the country. Incumbent would also be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across product, marketing and others in envisioning and executing initiatives that enhance partner experience and engagement with us, ultimately resulting in business impact. The role would provide opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Experiment and find new ways to onboard more chartered accountants as partners
- Ideate and execute ways to keep them engaged and find ways to improve their experience with us
- Plan and set monthly/quarterly targets for the team
- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target regional markets.
- Representing Razorpay at conferences and networking events.
- Domestic travel - up to 50%.
- Work effectively with internal support departments (Sales, Marketing and Product Development) to develop effective sales strategies and product roadmap that enhance partner experience
- Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and competition.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience of 7 to 9 years in B2B sales role; partnership experience preferred
- At least 4+ years of people management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven sales experience in specified territories and verticals.
- Able to drive customer centricity in the team.
- Quick learner, adaptable to changing business needs.
- The role involves extensive domestic traveling and hence candidates need to be prepared for the same.
- Experience in B2B/Enterprise Sale, stakeholder management and team management.
