Senior Manager - Cross Border

Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India. 

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital). 

The Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify potential and prospective partners for Razorpay Cross border business and define the strategy to onboard them Eg: Global PSPs, Payment Aggregators, Resellers and Referral partners 
  • Consultative Selling: Understand clients' business needs and challenges and accordingly offer appropriate solutions leveraging existing products and services
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process for strategic deals, including opportunity qualification, proposal creation, negotiations, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with internal & external cross functional teams to drive the pre and post go-live client journey, ensuring best in class client experience
  • Work closely with marketing team to plan BTL initiatives in respective markets which help increase brand recall of Razorpay and help convert clients 
  • Relationship Building: build and nurture long-term strategic relationships at different levels (including C-suite) and across teams in the client organization.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends, client industry developments, and competitors to identify new growth opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of past experience in enterprise sales in payments or SaaS domain 
  • Proven experience managing large, strategic accounts with revenue responsibilities
  • Demonstrated technical understanding with the ability to stitch together a solution leveraging a wide range of products to address complex client challenges
  • Proven ability of taking end to end ownership of initiatives with excellent stakeholder and program management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience working with global tech companies
  • Familiarity with complex payment solutions and enterprise-grade technology
  • A deep understanding of how to navigate and grow long-term relationships in high-stakes, high-value sales environments
