Senior Director, Data Licensing & AI Powered Data Analytics

The Senior Director of Data Licensing & AI Powered Data Analytics is a visionary leader responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle—from concept to launch and beyond. This role defines AI-driven data enrichment, predictive modeling, and segmentation solutions, helping clients leverage both their data and Resonate’s. They will guide product strategy, development, and innovation, collaborating across teams to ensure our products drive meaningful, predictive outcomes for marketers. Key responsibilities include defining the product vision, managing the product lifecycle, and leading a team of product owners to execute the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy

  • Develop and articulate a strategic vision for Resonate's data licensing, enrichment, predictive modeling, and segmentation portfolio.
  • Utilize analytics to inform product and marketing strategies, focusing on CRM Data Enrichment/Append, other data-driven offerings, predicative modeling and segmentation solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key customer segments, pain points, and growth opportunities.
  • Leverage first-party and Resonate data to drive insights, optimizing products based on customer needs.
  • Apply expertise in Customer Data Platforms, Cloud Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, and Predictive Modeling and Segmentation.

Product Development

  • Lead product discovery, design, and execution for AI analytics and data-driven products.
  • Define and translate product requirements, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Data Science to bring high-quality products to market on schedule.
  • Emphasize a user-centric approach, ensuring products align with customer goals and deliver clear value.

Market Understanding and Analytics Expertise

  • Contribute to Resonate’s product roadmap, leveraging market knowledge to ensure differentiation and value creation.
  • Working knowledge of advanced data science methodologies for data enrichment, segmentation and predictive modeling to ensure product vision and customer needs are met in product develop cycles.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and cloud operations to inform how to enhance performance.

Consumer Data Licensing

  • Drive product vision and strategy for Resonate’s data licensing products, including roadmap, pricing, GoTo Market and delivery.

Sales Enablement and Customer Engagement

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Sales and Product Marketing, creating compelling product collateral.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance internal and customer understanding of Resonate’s offerings.
  • Engage directly with clients to gather feedback, provide guidance, and help them maximize product value.

Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with strategic partners, identifying opportunities for collaboration.
  • Act as a product evangelist, communicating vision and strategy to stakeholders.

Commercialization

  • Lead product commercialization efforts, including product launch planning and KPI measurement.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis, develop business cases, and evaluate build/buy/partner options.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of product owners, transforming your vision into actionable product requirements in collaboration with data science, engineering, UX, and QA.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Mentor junior members of the product team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure product owners maintain a data-driven product backlog, regularly updating it based on market input and evolving customer needs.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 10+ years of product management experience in consumer data services, segmentation, predictive modeling, and/or marketing technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, or AWS.
  • Proven experience managing data enrichment and analytics products.
  • Expertise in consumer data, predictive modeling, segmentation, and data enrichment (e.g., CRM, Analytics).
  • Strong understanding of the value of B2C first-party data combined with third party data and the challenges brands face in customer acquisition, cross-sell and retention.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies for client-facing brand solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, networking, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Primarily remote, with occasional travel to Resonate’s Reston, VA headquarters.
