Senior Software Engineer, AI Tooling

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software to join our innovative AI robotics company, taking our AI infrastructure to the next level. In this role, you will build a list of tools lifting our AI productivity. You will work closely with AI Robotics expertise to build the robust onboard and offboard foundations for next-gen robot.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement web-based tools for data visualization and labeling.
• Work closely with AI researchers to build efficient and intuitive UI that accelerate their workflows
• Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces to accelerate the learning process for RoboForce robots.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional, full-time experience building full-stack / frontend web applications.
• Strong proficiency in frontend stacks: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and familiar with React, Angular or similiar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with 3D visualization libraries, such as Three.js, Deck.gl, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in developing data annotation and dataset management tools.
• Basic experience developing end-to-end web-based systems, including API design and database integration.
• Must work on-site at our office in the California Bay Area.
• Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and leading full-stack projects from concept to delivery.
• Familiarity with autonomous driving or robotics visualization tools, such as Webviz, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in working with and managing data storages, such as Postgres, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, etc.
• Experience developing tools for data annotation and dataset management.
• Knowledge of Python and data manipulation libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and others.
