As the Manager, FP&A -Pricing & Integration, you will oversee the development and maintenance of pricing controls across SharkNinja’s commercial organization. This role will own the pricing approval process and lead analysis around the price list, focusing on deviations from standard retailer front-end margin requirements. You will also manage integration into our ERP system (Oracle) and internal Sales Planning tool, ensuring seamless communication and execution of pricing strategies across teams. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, experience with pricing solutions, and the ability to manage system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Controls & Approval Process:
- Own and manage the pricing approval process, ensuring pricing decisions align with strategic goals and meet retailer front-end margin requirements.
- Lead analysis of deviations from standard margin requirements, providing insights and recommendations to the commercial and finance teams to ensure financial health.
- Maintain and optimize pricing controls, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all customer segments.
- Own the maintenance of SharkNinja’s price list, ensuring updates are executed in a timely manner and accurately reflected across systems.
System Integration & Process Management:
- Manage integration of the pricing system into Oracle and the internal Sales Planning tool, ensuring seamless data flow and system accuracy.
- Partner with IT and finance teams to improve pricing processes, leveraging Oracle and other platforms to ensure pricing data is consistently and accurately reflected across all systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert for pricing-related system functionalities, providing support and guidance to the Commercial, Finance, and Order Management teams.
Partnership with Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial organization, ensuring alignment on pricing strategies, updates, and controls.
- Provide training and support to commercial teams on pricing processes, helping them understand pricing controls and system functionalities.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, order management, and IT teams to ensure smooth communication and execution of pricing strategies.
- Act as a key point of contact for troubleshooting pricing issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with all stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Develop and implement process improvements for pricing controls, ensuring more efficient and scalable pricing management.
- Monitor key pricing metrics and produce reports to ensure pricing compliance, accuracy, and effectiveness.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership on pricing trends, system performance, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, IT, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in pricing, finance, or IT roles with experience in pricing controls and system integrations (Oracle experience strongly preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to manage complex pricing data and ensure system accuracy.
- Experience managing integrations with ERP systems (Oracle) and sales planning tools, with demonstrated ability to optimize workflows and system performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across commercial, finance, IT, and operations teams.
- Proven experience with process improvements related to pricing, with the ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
