The Role

SharkNinja is looking for a finance analytics professional to support enterprise BI reporting globally. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics, this role sits at the intersection of financial analysis and data development — building audit-ready Power BI solutions, maintaining consistent metrics across regions, and helping Finance teams work more effectively with data.

What You'll Own

Reporting Development

Build and maintain Power BI solutions supporting enterprise P&L, margin analysis, and performance management. Develop dashboards, semantic models, and metric layers in alignment with established global standards, ensuring consistency across geographies, channels, and product hierarchies.

Executive Insights

Deliver decision-ready dashboards aligned to global finance calendars and leadership rhythms — translating complex financial data into clear, actionable views.

Finance Partnership

Serve as a BI partner to FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Accounting teams across regions. Contribute to reporting roadmap discussions by identifying gaps and common needs, bringing priorities and recommendations to senior leadership.

SME Support

Support finance teams in developing stronger BI capabilities — sharing best practices, documenting processes, and providing guidance that helps finance partners engage more independently with reporting tools.

Metrics & Data Integrity

Develop and maintain DAX logic (YoY growth, variance to plan, contribution margin, rolling outlooks) in alignment with established metric governance. Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial calculations across reports.

SOX & Audit Support

Build reporting solutions that meet SOX compliance requirements in partnership with Accounting and Internal Audit. Embed validation logic and maintain documentation to support audit readiness.

Performance & Scalability

Develop high-volume models across SKU, channel, and regional dimensions. Apply best practices for performance, including incremental refresh and efficient model design.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or related field
  • 4–6+ years in finance analytics, BI development, or financial systems — ideally in consumer products or CPG
  • 3+ years building Power BI solutions for finance teams
  • Strong DAX, financial data modeling, and semantic layer skills
  • Solid understanding of P&L structures, margin analysis, and commercial finance fundamentals
  • Experience partnering effectively with finance stakeholders across functions
  • Clear communicator who can bridge technical and financial concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Experience with Snowflake as a cloud data platform
  • Familiarity with dbt for data transformation and experience using GitHub.
