Summary

Shift4 Payments is seeking a Growth Solutions Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale technical and business initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will manage cross-functional project teams, develop project plans, track deliverables, and ensure that objectives are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with company goals. Once the project has been completed, a Project Performance Evaluation will be completed to outline the successes and oversights of the project lifetime.

This opportunity is onsite and based at Shift4 Headquarters in Center Valley, PA 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute payment projects across multiple departments, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
  • Define project scope, goals, success metrics, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, risk registers, and communication plans.
  • Facilitate project meetings, daily stand-ups, and stakeholder reviews; document outcomes and follow-ups.
  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests to minimize disruption.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to the development of PMO best practices and templates.
  • Initiate the planning and oversight of all integration-related projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion. You will be expected to plan and designate project resources, monitor progress and set deadlines, solve any issues that may arise and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle stress, prioritize tasks and work under shifting deadlines
  • Demonstrated success working independently and managing projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Confluence).
  • Proficient in Google suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Any Certification is beneficial, but not required (Microsoft, Oracle, Linux, Cisco, PMI, etc.).
  • Experience in payment processing systems.
  • Experience with customer based interactions.
  • Experience with POS (Point of Sale) hardware and software.
  • 2+ years Technical Support/ troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to document test cases, expected outcomes, and processes.
