About the role...
ShopMy is seeking a Director of Manager & Agency Relations (MAR) to lead the expansion of our creator base by building and scaling relationships with top-tier talent management companies. With over 100,000 creators on the platform—many represented by managers—this individual will serve as the face of ShopMy to the management world and will own the strategy, engagement, and outcomes of our MAR function.
This role is ideal for a strategic operator with a strong understanding of the creator economy and a track record of scaling revenue-generating partnerships in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment. You’ll lead and grow a small team, establish performance targets tied to ARR and platform growth, and work cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, and Engineering to drive adoption and engagement. IRL meetings and relationship-building are core to this role, so we’re seeking candidates based in a major creator market.
Your Impact to The Role:
- Own and scale the Manager & Agency Relations (MAR) function, with full accountability for hitting creator acquisition and revenue targets
- Lead and grow the MAR team, including developing a clear 30/60/90-day strategy, team structure, and performance goals
- Build and manage strategic relationships with talent agency founders and managers, serving as the face of ShopMy to these partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to develop scalable onboarding processes, in-platform tools, and referral incentives for agencies
- Track and optimize performance using tools like Salesforce, Tableau, and PopSQL, with a focus on driving ARR from managed creators
- Develop go-to-market plans that position ShopMy as the leading platform for managed creator monetization
- Act as an internal advocate for talent managers by providing feedback to inform platform improvements, reporting needs, and strategic initiatives
- Represent ShopMy at industry events and IRL meetings, strengthening our presence and credibility across talent, creator, and brand communities

What We Are Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in creator economy, tech partnerships, platform growth, or business development
- Deep familiarity with talent management agencies and the broader creator ecosystem; prior experience partnering with agencies strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to scale a partner ecosystem and build strategic plans tied to ARR and creator acquisition
- Strong leadership experience—managing and growing a small team
- Polished communicator with executive presence, comfortable serving as the face of a brand
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, and/or other sales and analytics tools
- Comfortable operating independently and owning high-impact, relationship-driven workstreams
Bonus Points:
- Prior experience working at or closely with a talent management agency
- Experience building referral programs or incentive-based partnership models
- Deep network within the creator, influencer, or affiliate marketing ecosystems
- Familiarity with creator platforms
- Demonstrated ability to represent a brand at conferences, events, or industry panels

New York Pay Range
$160,000 - $180,000 USD
The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
