Inside Partner Account Manager (French or German speaking)

Smartsheet is seeking an Inside Partner Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the EMEA region. The Inside Partner Account Manager will play a crucial role in driving growth and maximizing revenue through effective management and expansion of our existing partner relationships. This position requires a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a deep understanding of the technology industry and the partner sales process. The Inside Partner Account Manager will also significantly collaborate with Smartsheet direct sales teams locally.      

Responsibilities:

  • Manage partnerships in the EMEA region, supporting our Principal Partner Account Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Partner Account Manager and Partner Sales Manager to align on partner strategy, share best practices, and coordinate joint partner initiatives.
  • Exceed revenue targets by developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing partners.
  • Engage and manage Smartsheet partner programs and relationships in support of partnership objectives and sales opportunities  (e.g. direct sales, sales engineers, partner marketing).
  • Manage a multi-quarter and annual planning process with key partners: Enablement, Co-Marketing, Sales pipeline. Partner pipeline, forecast reporting and track progress through the sales cycle. 
  • Drive monthly partner alignment sessions to review partners’ pipelines, conduct win/loss analysis, and develop account penetration strategies to identify and build new sales opportunities.
  • Work with partners, the Principal Partner Account Manager and Partner Sales Manager on developing and executing a partner marketing plan to drive demand in support of revenue targets.
  • Manage partners’ compliance with partner program requirements and governance on partner policies to maintain the partner relationship.
  • Provide field and partner input and feedback to internal supplier functions (e.g. sales, product, marketing) on tools and programs. 
  • Must be willing to travel.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience in Enterprise Application software. SaaS experience preferred. Understanding of a services led partner model - where the core value proposition for partners is delivering their own professional services, not license transactions  
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong understanding of partner sales processes, enablement and a hybrid go to market model
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teaming
  • Additional European languages are required (German or French)
  • Currently resides in the greater London area. Ability to commute into central London with some regularity, but not daily
