(Senior) Banking Operations Manager (d/f/m) at Solaris

Your Role 

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including the analysis of existing workflows, to identify inefficiencies, enhance efficiency, and implement optimized, scalable processes across Banking Operations.
  • Ensure standardised process documentation across all areas of Banking Operations.
  • Actively drive initiatives within Banking Operations and across Solaris, including placing feature requests with Product, Tech, and other teams, while effectively communicating with stakeholders to manage expectations and align operational strategies company-wide.
  • Oversee and support the management of Banking Operations tools, including the investigation and resolution of incidents, bugs, change requests, and third-party integrations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned providers and partners, ensuring effective collaboration and support.
  • Leverage data analytics to drive business performance by identifying opportunities for improvement and making informed decisions.
  • Assist in developing detailed reporting tools for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Hard Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in banking, financial services, consulting, or related industry, with a focus on operations, process management, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and procedures within a regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of success in operational management, including process improvement and optimization.
  • Experience with SQL, BPMN, or relevant industry certifications (such as Six Sigma, ITIL, or PMP) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. German fluency is advantageous.

Soft skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with above-average ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of commitment and initiative, demonstrating a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
