Marketing Intern, Store and Services - Undergraduate 

United States, San Mateo: this position can be performed fully remote, fully in person, or hybrid out of the SIE-PlayStation San Mateo, CA office. 

About the Team:

The PlayStation Store and Services Marketing team is dedicated to delivering a market-leading e-commerce experience and creating a ‘must-have’ subscription service that enhances our Players' gaming experience. We seek a dynamic Marketing Intern who can bring fresh ideas, contribute to content creation, and research industry trends. Reporting directly to a Brand Manager, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand marketing, social media, and performance marketing.
 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in campaign strategy development and execution.

  • Support creative briefing, development, localization, and review processes.

  • Collaborate with media partners to implement marketing campaigns.

  • Distribute marketing materials to local teams and ensure consistency.

  • Help prepare campaign reports and present findings to internal teams.

  • Build and manage a cross-functional quarterly campaign roadmap.

  • Gather and analyze weekly performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct market analysis and research on competitors and industry trends.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, with an expected graduation date by Spring 2026.

  • Curious, fast-learning, and resourceful with strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • A team player who can collaborate and execute programs effectively.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and hardworking.

Eligibility:

  • Able to work during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 17th - September 5th. 

  • Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.

  • Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the pay rate is exclusive to the internship period and may not reflect what pay may look like following the completion of an internship.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. 

 

Intern Pay Range

$33.25 - $43.25 USD
